Ten German convention centers with high quality standards have joined forces to form an alliance.

 


German Tourism Association (DTV)

Founded in 1902, the DTV German tourism association serves as an umbrella organisation for local, regional, and national tourism organisations in Germany; the member-oriented organisation is involved in coordination and consultation on tourism policy towards successful development of tourism in Germany. 

 


European Association of Event Centers (EVVC)

This is the first alliance of its type and currently represents more than 560 event venues, congress centres, arenas, and special event locations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, and other neighbouring European countries. Small, traditional town halls seating around a hundred are as much part of the alliance as are multifunctional arenas, venues of modernity for up to fifteen thousand attendees.

 

 

European Cities Marketing

European Cities Marketing is the leading organization for city marketing. It supports cities in their further development and in strengthening their competitiveness.

 

Forte Cultura

FORTE CULTURA is a cultural route that promotes and presents tourist attractions related to fortified monuments in Central Europe.

 

Gästeführerverband Mainz e.V.

Since Mainz tour guides first organized themselves in the 1980s, the association has gone from strength to strength—what began with just under 20 members has now grown into an impressive group of over 90 tour guides. All Mainz tour guides are trained according to BVGD guidelines, and the certifications recommended by the BVGD are also part of the association's program.

 


German Convention Bureau

The GCB German Convention Bureau e.V. markets Germany internationally and nationally as a location for congresses, conferences, incentives, and events.

 


Great Wine Capitals

The Great Wine Capitals (GWC) are an international network of currently nine major cities. They all have one very special feature that shapes their economic and cultural life: their internationally known and renowned wine-growing regions.

Mainzer Fastnacht eG

The aim of Mainzer Fastnacht eG is to make the Mainzer Fastnacht brand known throughout Germany. From now on, guests and Mainz carnival-goers alike will be able to obtain information about carnival at a central location under the umbrella brand Mainzer Fastnacht eG.

Rheinhessen-Touristik GmbH (RHT)

RHT is the region’s leading tourist agency for promoting Rheinhessen’s position as a tourist destination, and unites forces towards effective marketing. 

 


Rheinhessenwein e.V.

Rheinhessenwein e.V. provides a unified marketing service for Germany’s largest wine-growing region. Founded in 1961, Rheinhessenwein currently has 1,550 members. The association’s objective is to promote wine from the Rheinhessen region by focusing on marketing wine in Germany.

 


Romantic Cities

The Romantic Cities group between the Rhine and Mosel comprises seven of Rhineland-Palatinate’s most famous tourist cities together with the Directorate General of Rhineland-Palatinate’s cultural heritage association, and are entrusted with preserving the cultural heritage of Rhineland-Palatinate for future generations while presenting monuments as a touristic experience. The marketing alliance ultimately serves to strengthen the international standing of the region with regard to the cities and the culture they offer for tourism with the support of Rhineland-Palatinate’s official marketing organisation.

 

Tourismusfonds Mainz e.V.

In June 2017, Tourismusfonds Mainz e.V. was founded as a new model for tourism financing in Mainz. With the introduction of the Mainz Tourism Fund, funds from the private sector are supplemented by funds from the municipal economic development agency, which, in accordance with its statutory purpose, are used exclusively for the general promotion of tourism.

 


Tourismus- und Heilbäderverband Rheinland-Pfalz e.V. (THV)

The THV tourism and spa association serves municipalities, organisations, and other partners involved in tourism, providing support and consultation for implementing local tourism policy in municipalities.
